Let them get a little closer. Simon punches through the wall and grabs a water pipe. The effect is dramatic as water quickly floods the room. On set, he had to time this right so the effects guys didn't get fried when Simon's character, Frank the roadhouse priest, had his moment of divine whatever.
3...2...1...
He doesn't have to project any sort of current in his ion form, but sometimes it's the right thing to do.
