"Conflict of interest. While I have access to some resources, owning American franchises, low income housing, all the rest raises questions. I can invest, but not really be the primary signer. Low income housing, inner city McDonalds... are not money makers, so anyone donating would need to be doing so out of charity or political interest. Secondly, as a primary part of this, to counter some of the accusations that will come out of the media and police, I want to have a drug counseling and testing center built... counselors, anonymous testing, detox program... but it needs approval and oversight from an independent lab, or no one will believe it... and that's a money sink.

Basically, I'm looking for a giant investment of capital from someone with the contacts to get the permits... but it would keep mutant town from being available for bulldozing... and if someone were to want to attract votes from the far left of New York, this is a great cause to get behind.... I have a coordinator drawing it all up... but I can't get the favors nor be the one putting the capital in. I was wondering if you and your allies might be looking for something like that... not to mention somewhere for PR for your show. Possibly put a recording studio or the like in there, shoot some of the show in mutant town to keep it visible and your people active."
