"People like you and myself can afford to take a 'big picture' view of a lot of things, Andrew. I sometimes forget that most people can only deal with the world they see immediately before them and things like what happened in District X are such a violation of people's rights and freedoms that aren't talked about because the people in question don't fall into the demographic that the media caters to." he says.
"I find it interesting that people like the Avengers and the Fantastic Four have the ability to get people talking about these things, but they never do. There are mutants and other superhumans among those groups, yet it takes mutants to force this kind of discussion, as always."
