Cassidy thinks over Andrew's response for a few minutes, noting that he'd had a couple of the same thoughts. Few people found Xavier's by simply walking up to the front gate; Cassidy knew of only one person to do that so far. But everyone else had either been brought there after being sensed by the professor (like himself) or attended the school because of connections to someone who was there now or had been there before (like Izzy).

"I've been thinking a lot lately about those people who aren't lucky enough to be sensed by the Professor and what happens to them because they don't receive the training they need. Or if they're sensed too late.

I've been thinking about trying to help some of those people the way I was helped, people who don't realize there are other mutants out there, by finding them and showing them that they have options. Xavier's is one idea, but not everyone is a teenager needing an education. If that doesn't work for them...I was thinking maybe there's a way to refer them to the Consulate or somewhere they can go stay in safety and get help controlling their abilities and a way to be productive." Cassidy says.

"I hope I'm making sense here. I don't want to force anyone into anything, but I know what it was like for me, back when Sinister had me. If I'd known Xavier's or Genosha was out there, I might have fought harder to escape sooner. Instead, I thought I was stuck in the life I was in and that made things tough to deal with for awhile." he tells them.
