Somehow, there's enough sense of herself left to respond to her sister's pleas. Marrina swarms one of the creatures, her tail slamming the one clinging to her into the reef.
Her jaws snapped, tearing the arm clean off one of the ones attacking Kassi. It let out a high pitched scream, and the others began to flee.
