As much as Ahura has issue with Stavros (that /is/ his name, right?) he would rather not see his teammate crushed to death by a Nazi. That would be embarrassing, even for this one.
"Swashbuckler! Get clear!" Ahura yells.
When Steve does so, Ahura removes his shades and looks directly at Masterman, intending to cripple him with pain long enough for Steve to take him down.
