Deep though it was buried, the red core of rage was where Tina was almost immediately drawn. The hotter something burned in a person's mind, the more obvious it was to someone with Tina's particular skillset. That wasn't to say all telepaths worked that way, just those forged in a particular type of flame. Tina skirted close to it, felt the heat and the rage and noted carefully the inadequate locks.
She wasn't precognitive, but Tina had a dark clutching feeling that someday she'd be the one trying to reassemble her best friend inside the mind of the snarling beast. Tina could only hope that by getting this close now the monster within would recognize her when the time came.
Moving on, she found the language memories and, quickly, lifted the Japanese ones before backing her way out slowly. Outwardly, the process didn't seem to even phase Tina. She simply stood there fiddling with the zipper on her purse while she retrieved things.
"Hrm. Not sure if his really worked. I guess we should test it."
