A few hours later
Once the team had been given a quick once-over by the Doctors McCoy (and Rachel had calmed down from "world destroyer" mode), Rachel got David, Starbridge, and Torn Ear together in the solarium.

"So, um..." she began. "Today was... insane. I know. So I'll completely understand if you guys don't want anything to do with me.

But... um... even before this whole thing started... I was already thinking about making a choice. You guys have been great, but keeping this going, well, it wasn't fair to anyone. I guess I just kind of liked all the attention having three guys after me came with."

She took a breath. "But um... so I guess I should tell you what I decided."
