The hound attacking Hal was hit with the axe across the muzzle. Blood sprayed and the thing's muzzle was sliced off. Blood gushed out and a moment later the thing fell to the floor.
The one attacking Freki was caught by Geri. The hellhound and the wolf rolled on the floor. Grei caught the hellhound's throat and ripped it out.
