When Andy did finally wake up, after that whole fight-with-Ares-thing, his head was so foggy that it took him a bit to remember why today was so important. Eventually, he put it together and remembered it was Jenny's birthday.

Lucky for him, he arranged for her birthday gift before his injury. Today, he picks up a phone to wish her a happy birthday.
