Not too long after the drug cocktail was introduced to Romanov's body, the doctor overseeing the procedure watched in surprise as the subject's readings began falling. Romanov was sinking into a coma before his eyes!
The team stabilized the young man, and the doctor set up the chemical therapy again.
When the medical team stabilized Romanov for the third time, the doctor read through the medical file again, paying closer attention to the blood work done when the Logan sons were brought in. The drugs should have engaged Romanov's healing ability and lowered his resistance to the next step in, but it appeared that his body was following a programmed response. A programmed kill switch in response to chemical tampering. Was it only Romanov, or did Roberts have the same programming?
He wondered and made a note to himself to research the possibility for the existing Weapon X team.
"Take him back to his cell. Be careful with him. Bring the younger boy."
Misha listened and stayed quiet. It wasn't hard. He felt sick and weak. He didn't know what was going on, but he understood he and David might be out of the cells at the same time, however brief. This could be their chance to escape.
