Whoever this is David likes you. He moves out the open door and sniffs the air sharply. He wants to figure out where the guards are so he doesn't run into them on his way out.
But he does know his 'friend' might know the best way out anyways. It still doesn't hurt to pay attention. This place is sterile enough to not cause too many problems.
