David, finally! And the kid didn't look in bad shape at all. The snake... yeah, that he decided was a figment of the drugs they tried to force on him.
On the chance that it really wasn't a figment, he spoke in a hard, hurried whisper. "Get David out of here. I need to check if anybody else is being held in cells. I'm not leaving any prisoners behind, or anybody else who wants out."
