Mr. Cooleridge...blinked for just a moment at the bubble pipe, then shook it off and addressed Sydney again.
"As far as we can tell, Zoey seems to have abruptly approached Jamie Zielinski -- who happens to be the tallest boy in the grade but, honestly, has not shown any particularly aggressive behavior -- and punched him several times until he was knocked over. Jamie's still with the nurse, but he's essentially fine."
There's an expression on Mr. Cooleridge's face of I-can't-believe-I'm-saying-this-but... "I think one thing that definitely needs to be made clear to Zoey, based on what she was apparently saying afterward, is that the lunch line operates alphabetically, and not on some kind of....wolfpack-like hierarchy structure."
