"I've fought the big name demons, I don't think Savage Land will be all that scary compared to that," those encounters have certainly screwed with his sense of what's dangerous.
"It's alright, most people don't. It's difficult to explain a lot of magic stuff anyway. That's why you guys usually call in a sorcerer for magic stuff. Like Dr. Strange!" Martin assumes the guy here is a superhero, afterall he didn't think most villains were concerned with the safety of bystanders. Plus the guy was helpful and relatively nice.
