"Sweetie? It's a term of endearment. An affectionate way to address someone other than the more formal usage of their name. There's a bunch of them, like 'sweetie', 'honey', 'dear', 'angel', 'sugarlips', 'babycakes'... to name a few. It really depends on what the person calling you's more comfortable using. See, I've never gotten the whole 'calling someone muffin' thing, but some do it." She tipped her head up so she could smile at him.
