Frustrated, he waves away some of the purple butterflies still fluttering around, and tries to adjust his comm. He doesn't trust his telepathy control not to accidentally transmit something to the intruders, so he decides to forgo using that ability now.
Okay, on the second floor in an open area with a bunch of intruders coming up soon. That meant time freeze spells wouldn't be so useful with those numbers, and his larger, and more experimental, spells were a definite no if he didn't want to destroy the building. Well that just meant one of two things: get creative with this fun or, if it got out of hand, take off one of the limiting spells on his gloves. Option two would mean the time spells would be actually useful but...he didn't want to have to do that needlessly.
