One of the girls trying to draw a bead on her is startled by the light, losing control of her bike. It topples, sending her and the vehicle skidding.
"Goggles on, the lasers seemed to work." calls one of the others into his comms. Those still up spend a few moments adjusting, save the flier with his laser, who takes a couple mostly blind shots, trying to clear his field of vision.
