"I thought they said that about bunnies," Martin comments.
"And sorcerers apparently. At least that's what the heroes who sometimes visit joke about. They don't speak as quietly as they think," he says matter-of-factly. Visitors looking for magic help rarely noticed the young apprentice who flitted around helping, which resulted in Martin overhearing thing's about his mentor's womanizing days. Not that he cared about it really but it was amusing to see their reactions when people realized he'd overheard.
