Frances nearly shot the sudden newcomer, making exasperated noise. "Is that normal entrance with magic users?" she asked dryly. Orlen finally popped up and didn't offer much more of an explanation. Did he really just say 'shoot the demons?' and 'dear' at her? She blinked and level her handgun. The apparently demons were fast but she was used to shooting with Mac for practice. "You know, I don't exactly carry silver bullets in my clips."
