Halbjorn sees his sister coming and waves her away as best he can. Trygvi isn't going to be able to evacuate with the Hulk still focused on him carrying two. Nothing against the Valkyrie's steeds - they're the best Asgard has, but its not meant to carry two, especially when one is Halbjorn's size.
Instead, he slams his hands downward, cratering the earth to drop himself out of sight. With Algrim and the Hulk both looking for a fight, he figures they're more likely to end up seeing each other rather than searching for him - and he can find Svalin again... if he's right.
