She opened the doorway to the nearby dining area - the voices in the kitchen would be muffled for privacy but should a fight break out, they would be on hand and she pressed the intercom on the wall, "Marlow, if thou would care to join the lady Ardis and myself in the dining hall...we are to imbibe and....girl talk?" that was the phrase, was it not?
