After a thorough admonishing by the Defender's healer, Kael sat in the med-lab. She had give him some mortal medicine and forced him to wear some manner of eye-covering. She said he would be sensitive to light for awhile and would have to wear them until she deemed him ready to take it off.
He sat there for awhile, at odds with how he felt. He couldn't erase years of his past, but Lady Sydney had a point.
