He's about to ask what's going on when the gravity in the room increases suddenly. His control of the effect on himself never takes much concentration but to keep it at bay for four others as it increased? Reed had been right in his calculations.
Gritting his teeth, Aleron concentrates on each of his teammates, trying to lessen their gravity to counteract Reed's work. They'll be able to walk normally but each increase takes more and more of his concentration to make sure they can.
Why was Dr. Richards doing this? Some sort of test? No, he wouldn't. Then what could have possibly gotten into him?
