"Okay," he nods, taking in the information about Kelly with interest but not telling Samson he would actually be 14 this month.
Martin doesn't answer for a long moment and just stares at his hat as he turns it in his hands. "Umm well it was not too long after I uh...got my magic." He cheers up slightly at the next bit. "Dr. Strange said I was a really good student and learnt fast so he gave me the hat because of that. 'Cause I really couldn't touch anything because I didn't have good control so my hands leaked more often and umm...it was nice I could finally touch something..."
