She didn't know how the old crush kept flaring up again lately. It was in the face of all logic. The harem were like sisters, and Misha was the ultimate big brother. When it came to girls, as far as she could tell, he went for worldly women -- and not the 'well-travelled and educated' kind of worldly. More the kind that was the opposite of her. The kind of people who made good cocktail waitresses, whose independence mindset was because of casual habits, not a set goal offsetting the inability to get through the house alone if someone moved the furniture.
So Sylvie smiled and waited for her ride to Harry's and tried to stop being so uncharacteristically broody.
