"Ooh, I like that one!" He puffs up a bit with pride. This made him even more useful and likely to stay on the team! Perfect. Magic people were always needed.
"Nope, magic can be very unpredictable. And if we ever fight someone with magic then I'd be extra useful." There's a pause and he realizes that nobody has asked the new teammate the important questions yet. He had to fix this.
"Oh, you didn't answer part of the team entrance test," he says then looks at her very seriously like the next questions were related to life and death. "What are your opinions about explosions? And what are you opinions about demon hunting?"
