"If I put a rabbit in my hat I could," he says while pulling a giant spellbook from the hat. "I once turned an enemy into a guinea pig. That's close. Rabbit would be a bit harder and I'm not very good at transmutations. They're hard, and need a lot of control. I can do a butterfly if you want."
He doesn't wait for her answer and finds a bit of debris and floats over there. Preparatory wiggle and stretch of the fingers while he reads over a page in his spell book and then Martin starts the incantation. The piece of debris rises, glows blue, begins to shake and twitch before it seems to crumple into itself and a blue butterfly flaps its wings to get out of there.
"It worked!" Granted, that was easier than the guinea pig spell but he wasn't very good at these sorts of things to begin with.
