Jack tenses, but doesn't jump, at the voice. He crawls down a wall, rather than jumping, to get to the fridge. He stops for a bit, seemingly distracted by his own thoughts, then starts grabbing some fruits and veggies.
"Don't need floors much. Apparently I was built that way." He mutters.
