That time Fred wasn't completely fast enough to dodge as Nicholas' attack leaves cuts on his arm. Fred looks at the arm nonchalantly, he'd long ago stopped reacting poorly to blood. Fred's sudden fascination with his arm however was actually a plot as he suddenly propelled himself forward, using his legs to become a living battering ram as he flew at his "brother".
