Sure it was Hanukkah about now, and Russian Christmas was January 7th and not December 25th, but it didn't mean Vlad didn't enjoy classic Christmas season. It was fun, everyone was happy, and there was plenty of food to be had. Of course he had most of his presents in mind, if not actually ready. In fact, while he was helping move the boxes around, his mind was distracted by just what to get some people.
Enough that as he walks through the doorway with boxes piled in his arms, he doesn't see the mistletoe right away.
