Well that was awkward. Who knew people didn't know about mistletoe? "Oh. Well, it's mistletoe and the tradition goes that if you meet someone under it you're supposed to kiss them," he explains. "Sorry again, didn't mean to surprise you." He really did feel bad about surprising her like that, but was glad she'd accepted the cookie dough offer. It gave him a chance to make it up to her, besides, you weren't supposed to scare new people off.
"Great! C'mon, I've got a secret stash. And since you're new, tip of the day: if it's good, hide it. Seriously, food disappears at astonishing rates around here. Like locusts I swear," he smiles and motions for her to follow him to the kitchen.
