That stops the spell before it can do too much damage and makes her stagger, but she doesn't fall. While she isn't Namor, she is half-Atlantean, with all the gifts that provides - definitely not human, and definitely going to take some teamwork here.
"Human fool." she snarls, casting a quick flash of super-bright light to both try and disrupt his aim, and help her keep an eye out for him.
