If You Break Down (Bea)
Anya ran as fast as she could but she knew that bastard was catching up to her. It was dark and she couldn't see, but she knew he was behind her. If she stopped or slowed down Temujin would catch her. She kept running. Something was in her path and she stumbled.

She felt him get closer and she tried to scramble to her feet. A hand grabbed her ankle and she screamed.

Anya woke screaming. She had fallen asleep on the couch and had a nightmare. She was shaking and and her shirt was soaked with sweat.

"Dammit," she swore. She thought she had the nightmares beat, but the recent round of mind control must have brought them back.

	Bea's hand, with a clean handkerchief, reached to rest on Anya's shoulder. She's not a comfort expert. She just knows there's a point to try to cheer people up and they're not at it right now. So she's just there, with the practical things. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Anya look a sip of the tea and held the cup with both hands to absorb the heat. "A few years ago I met a guy. He was handsome and charming. He even saved my life when the Hand grabbed me. What I didn't know was that he was the son of my father's greatest enemy. When he was ready to put his plans into action, he grabbed me and brainwashed me. Turned me into the Lady Mandarin. I was his weapon and killed his enemies for him. Eventually my father and brother stopped me and with some deprogramming I was myself again. It wouldn't be the first time he did this."
