It got harder for Franklin to calm his nerves. Tezcatlipoca was definitely hitting him in all the right places with these illusions. That was the strongest reason why Franklin wasn't having a full-on panic attack; because he knew the difference between illusion and reality. Still, that didn't make what he felt insignificant.
He took more deep breathes, and closed his eyes. Maintaining his barrier was key at this point, and feeling out for the God's location was important.
"And in all those centuries, nothing unexpected has ever happened?" Franklin asked.
