Manny had just finished with the doctor, who had fitted a special kind of plaster into the cracks in his armor to protect the inner-skin until it healed properly on its own. He had been told to get some rest, but Manny insisted on being at the meeting, arriving shortly after Martin did.
"Perdon, everyone," he apologized before gingerly taking a seat.
