War! (Halbjorn)
Svalin's sword didn't stop. It moved from one opponent to another in wide sweeping strokes. Occasionally a large overhead blow was required, but enemies still fell before her.

This is when Halbjorn is most alive. Everything on the line, surrounded by enemies. He lacks Svalin's sense of tactics, and ability to read the flow of a battle. He also lacks her grace and finesse, but there's no question of his savagery. Wide, sweeping arcs with the axe buy him room - which is always used to advance further into the enemy ranks.

"Keep to mine side, brother," Svalin said as she used her staff to sweep the legs out from under and enemy.

Any direction but forward fights his instincts, but he nonetheless retreats from the ground he's gained to guard his sister's flank.

Svalin spun around and cracked a guy on his head with the end of a staff.

Warding off one flanking attack with the axe, Halbjorn frees one hand from the axe handle, tossing aside a couple of more daring attackers.

Halbjorn returns the favor, downing a foe approaching Svalin's side, grabbing another with his off-hand and flinging him into enemy ranks.

Svalin smiled her thanks and cracked a guy on the head with the end of her staff. A horn sounded over the din and the enemy troops started to fall back.

Svalin wasn't about to give up. She started chasing after them.

Now this is more Halbjorn's style. With a roar, he raises his axe, bellowing after the retreat, then moves to follow his sister in harrying the enemy as they run.

Svalin ran after the fleeing troops and was just about to catch up to one guy when there was a loud yell.

Halbjorn skids to a halt, putting the axe back on his back after just a moment. He's gotten very used to that word.

Svalin stopped and stood still, waiting for their next order. Her breathing was a bit hard. She had gotten the role.
