"Yup," he said and closed the laptop. "Was just getting some notes down." He turned and gave her a smile. He was surprised she was here, quite relieved too, and surprised she didn't use her powers to scare the crap out of him.
He grabbed his jack from the back of his chair and slipped it on. "All ready."
