The muscle cleanly severed, Angelo vanishes before any counter-attack could commence anyway. He reappears after Simon's coordinated attack, driving the pommel of a heavier knife into the back of her skull. He doesn't like hitting women, but this is war.
Besides, he'd gotten in fair fights back in elementary school. He'd since decided they weren't for him.
