Martin smiled at the swear, entirely because the 'hell' had been plural. It was silly to him that people always used the singular, this guy got it right. Awesome.
At the admittance to being an alternate dimension apprentice there was a rather loud sound as the spellbook Martin had been reading slammed itself shut and all of a sudden the young sorcerer appeared in a poof right next to the new guy. "Really?! That's so awesome! And you're not an alternate me! Perfect! Then you'd know all the really cool spells I'll get to learn and all sorts of awesome stuff I haven't gotten to yet and-" He stopped himself and just openly beamed at the guy, clearly very excited. As if that babbling hadn't made it awesome enough.
This guy was a great indicator of the type of stuff he'd get to learn in the future that he didn't even yet know about! How had he not heard of this guy yet?
