Unknown to all parties General Kendrick had been followed to the hospital. In fact, Mrs. Kendrick's hospital room was bugged. Outside in what looked like a non-descript van, a call was placed.
"Kendrick's been in contact with the Genoshans. Recommend immediate extraction. Understood, sir. I'll be sure to expect them."
