The sword found its mark, though the Balrog in this simulation was made of tougher stuff than to be badly hurt by one attack. It roared and spewed flame at the figure with the shield, all while it formed a large sword of flame in its other hand.
Brandr, not having a shield to protect him, went to the side, aiming to flank the monster.
