The Balrog put its massive strength behind his attack, as he pushed the flaming sword, which flared up, against Vigfrior.

Brandr had gone around to the other side, his sword hitting the Balrog's leg to try and keep its attention divided and prevent it from using its full strength and focus on Svalin.
