So not fair. Why did he had to get a hair cut everything Mom came back? It was one of the first things she made him do. She took him shopping for new clothes and made him get a hair cut, the whole time talking Russian to him. And he had to talk Russian to her. They didn't even have baseball in Russia. You never saw a Russia team on tv. He knew, 'cause he looked for it.

She never made Anya get a hair cut. Anya could have all the hair she wanted. If he had to get one, so should Anya. THAT would be fair.

	It wasn't his fault his hair grew so fast. Everybody said it was because of Dad, but Misha hadn't yet figured out how Dad made his hair grow fast. Mom said she had to civilize him every time she came back, but she never said she had to civilize Anya. That wasn't fair either. "You need a haircut too. So we have hair the same." 	He had to look in a couple of drawers because he forgot where Mom kept them. Once he found them, he went back to little sister. "You need a pony tail first. Then we cut off the pony tail." 	"Sure." He'd seen it done lots of times. He needed a rubber band first. Once he had that, he tried to get all her hair in it, but she had so much. Some of it stuck out in directions he didn't mean it to, but he could fix that with the scissors. "Now, hold still." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Misha held the scissors against the makeshift pony tail for a moment, deciding if it was right or not. It looked right? Yeah, that was it.

He tried one snip, but all her hair was so thick he had to work the scissors a few times to get them to close. A hank of red hair dropped to the floor between them. More joined it until Anya had the look of a baby bird with uneven feathers.
