He blinked, taking the houseplant in his arms and moving to the side to allow her into the apartment. He was a bit in shock at how she just presented the gifts to him.
"Thank you, Miss Jo." He finally spoke, placing the wine bottle in the kitchen, then taking the plant to put on the large windowsill in the living area. "I will let Tyler partake in the wine, I shall just care for the plant."
There was a small smile on his face as he looked over at her, only to give off a sigh. "If you are here to see Tyler, I am afraid you just missed him. He has gone out to do more research. If you wish, you can make yourself comfortable and I can make you something to eat?"
