"I did not understand the "pleasure of the flesh" until a few months ago. In my time, many were scared to even try such things because religion was a way of life. The church had more social influence than it does, now. Men could pay for a woman's dowry to marry her, even if she did not love him back. Nobles forced to marry cousins to keep the bloodlines pure. In some cases, children as young as thirteen married and then began to have children of their own soon after. They married so young because lifespans were painfully short. Because of all of this, there was so much sadness, and many infidelities which caused the spread of disease."
"But in this era, you can choose who you wish to experience such things with. Explore all possibilities of sex and love without having to marry first. No one is forced to be with someone they do not wish to be with, so people are much happier."
