"The enemies I battled in Egypt and the Middle East are a different breed than most of the criminals here. They will destroy an entire city block to get at one person they dislike, and not care about the innocent people caught in the crossfire. I had to make certain my identity was iron-clad... which is why I have been so private, even with my allies on this team. I needed to be sure that no one would ever guess my identity. But, as I said, keeping this secret has injured a member of this team, and I never intended that. And for that reason... I wish to unmask for my team. To show you that I trust you more than I distrust our enemies."
