Johannes instinctively threw up a shield when the counterattack from the female came. He had not been expecting that. At all. He had been expecting them to collapse to the ground, stunned and ripe for relieving them of their cash.
Mutants. They had to be. Bad choice on his part. He should have been more careful.
And the guy getting bigger? So not cool.
He sent another energy blast at them.
