He's only still wearing pants because the first time he changed, he was wearing extra durable jeans, instead of tearing, things just got very tight. Ever since that incident, he's made sure to always wear jeans that will accommodate a lot more... him. Its easy enough to hide that particular fact with untucked shirts and some careful adjustment. He just never managed to find a way to make the oversized or stretchable waistband equivalents work when it came to shirts or shoes.
