He hadn't been able to acquire Kaila yet, as quiet, subtle communication had indicated she was already en route. She knew to cover their psychic backs as soon as she got there. So they'd gotten down there, and now Daniel was carefully stepping to the front of the crowd in front of the armored figures, trying not to make a gunslinger walk out of it, but boy, that was tempting.
